If you’ve ever been victim of a garage fitting parts to your vehicle that ultimately did not fix the fault then look no further. If we replace a part and it does not rectify the issue you were experiencing we will not charge you for that part.
You will never hear us saying things like “the computer said it was the…”
Plugging in a diagnostic computer and viewing fault codes is not a diagnosis, it’s only one part of out industry leading Eight step diagnostic process
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD A MECHANIC SAYING THINGS SUCH AS, “WE NEEDED TO REPLACE THAT PART TO ELIMINATE IT” YOU’LL NEVER HEAR THAT FROM US.
By the time we replace a part you can be assured we have evaluated it, tested it & proved it was faulty using tools and equipment to bypass test the part so we can be 100% sure it requires replacement.
How can we offer this guarantee? Because we apply our industry leading Eight Step Diagnostic Process to every fault we’re presented with.
Diagnosis starts with a consultation with you the vehicle owner, at this point we’ll gather relevant information about your vehicle and the issue you're experiencing.
We’ll take a look at the vehicle with you to ensure our understanding of the fault is in line with yours.
Tests will now be performed in a logical order. We’ll use serial data tools, oscilloscopes, and gauges to lead us towards the root cause of your fault.
Technical bulletins are consulted. This often outlines known faults for your vehicle, as well as software updates.
System data will be analysed and recorded. Once anomalies are witnessed we’ll formulate the test plans required to confirm the cause.
Technical information is consulted to ensure that the test plan will be accurate. Wiring diagrams are often used at this point.
Using only the best test equipment, we’ll interrogate relevant systems for permanent and intermittent faults.
Finally, we’ll document all of our initial findings and call you, explain our analysis and offer our recommendations.
Using computers is an essential part of our diagnostic evaluation and some faults can be found here. More often than not a single fault code can have many causes which is why tests are essential to finding the exact cause. Testing is a critical part of the process and ensures your vehicle is fixed the first time at the lowest possible cost to you the owner.
Every fault is different so the final cost depends on the type and number of defects on your vehicle.
Our initial evaluation cost is £96 inc VAT and typically includes points one through to eight.
Should the number of tests needed exceed the initial evaluation, then we’ll call with our recommendations and an estimate of costs going forward.
